Perfect VS Imperfect

Imperfect- not perfect; faulty or incomplete
When you think of the word imperfect, you think of something that is not good enough to be used or does not need to exist. Many imperfect things in this world are often thrown away or used as scrap material. Because society is obsessed with perfection, the human mind is programmed to believe that imperfection means unworthiness. But do you know that we as humans are imperfect and that God still wants to use us in a mighty way?
Yes, no one who walks this earth is a perfect human being. Everyone is imperfect regardless of how much someone excels in the things they do or maintain their appearance. Some people may think otherwise and may feel as though they are not good enough, but those are the very people God uses for his glory. Have you ever heard the expression "broken crayons still color" ? Whether the tip may have fallen off or broken in half, it remains a crayon regardless of its hardships. The same goes for individuals; we may experience difficulties in life, but it does not change the fact that we are who we are. We are not what we go through; we only experience what we go through. Jesus made it clear when he talked about hardships that even in these experiences, we will be okay.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
God knows us more than we know ourselves! He knows our beginning, our in-between, and our ending. He knew that when he created us, we would have hardships, struggles, sinful ways, and many other things that he does not approve of; however, he loves us because that is his nature. When the bible talks about his unconditional love, there are no other words to explain it because it just is. And so, with our imperfections, God has a way to use us to reach different people for his glory. Look at the story of Saul; he was a murderer and persecuted Christians; however, God used him to bring people to know Christ. God also changed the prophet Saul's name to Paul because he was a new creation in Christ.
We are no different from Paul in our actions as imperfect humans. God knew whom he created Paul to be and worked through him to fulfill his life purpose. God will do the same with us as believers. Sometimes, as a believer, it is hard to go to God after doing things that are against his will, but again, God is not looking for perfection; he is looking for his child who wants to seek him knowing and unknowingly.
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Gods' word over this world! God says that you are the head, not the tail, and he has given you authority. Change your thoughts about yourself, and know that God can use you. Each day you are given another day to live is a chance to allow him to come into your heart and mind. Sin is easy, but the road to knowing Christ is narrow and lonely. However, in the end, it is worth understanding who he is and who you are through him!
